The Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede who was a witness to an accident scene, tried the emergency number 112 and surprisingly it worked.
Nigerian with this mentality should all have in mind that our country is doing well now and those emergency numbers are working and at your disposal when need be!!! 112/767....
"Driving home last night, I drove past an accident scene. A car knocked someone down and the car fell into a ditch. I didn't witness the accident, all I saw was people gathering around not knowing what to do. I remembered a friend mentioned Lagos state emergency number 112 actually works, I thought I give it a try and render the little help I could, so I called 112, a woman picked up immediately, sounded polite, calm and inquisitive. She said, "an emergency team will be sent to you immediately " honestly I was surprised and shocked at the same time that we do actually have an emergency number that works.
