The Nollywood actress and movie producer Omoni Oboli, whose latest movie titled "Okafor's Law" is making a hit in the box office, reacts to domestic violence.Due to the situation in marriages especially celebrity's marriages. She said
how unspeakable it is to beat a partner/wife no matter the situation. Omoni advices anyone in such situation shouldn't die in silence but fight for justice!!!
She further revealed working on a new project themed: Domestic Violence, and throws open suggestions and ideas from fans,
According to her in an Instagram post.....
"Thinking...why would a man feel the need to beat his wife or his partner? Is there really anything a woman can do to a man to make him hit her? As for women who beat their husbands or partners, I don't even know what to say to those ones! 🙄😡 When is domestic violence ok? Is it ever ok? Is it ok to beat your partner to stupor and many times to death? I don't know about you but I'm sick and tired of these stories! 😩😩😡Are cases of domestic violence on the rise or are people just more inclined to open up and talk about it? Do people stay because they are afraid of what people will say? The perpetrators should be reported and should be brought to justice! People should not be afraid to report and seek for justice! I'm working on a project that has domestic violence as one of the strong themes so let's talk...share experiences with me (it doesn't have to be yours.
