After some digs into the buzz about an alleged face-off between Afro Pop singer, Davido and rapper, Ice Prince in Warri last night, our private eyes have come up with some detailed explanation of what actually transpired.
According to our findings, the said face-off happened at an event, Delta Alive, organised by night club owner, Shina Peller, where Davido, Lil Kesh, Ice Prince, CDQ and others were all billed to perform.
Trouble however was reported to have started from the airport when Davido was picked up in a G-Wagon while Ice Prince was picked up with a saloon car, a gesture which was said to have infuriated Ice Prince and over which he registered his displeasure with the organisers. Davido got to hear his complaints and was angry too. Then the issue escalated during the concert when Ice Prince was made to perform before Lil Kesh, a move that’s seen as an insult to the bigger artiste.
Ice Prince was said to have made an issue of the disrespect backstage and Davido who had been boiling from the car complaint and obviously a close friend of Lil Kesh jumped in defense of Kesh and things got messy. Sources report that the Aye crooner was so pissed that when they got back to the hotel, he had to go the door of Ice Prince’s room to bang and shout before those around waded in to calm him down. The case was said to be so worse the two artistes be flown back to Lagos in two separate lounges because they were still boiling at each other at the airport.
